Privacy Policy

Your trust is the foundation of everything we build. Here is exactly how we handle your information.

Last updated June 19, 2026

Black Wall Street LLC ("Black Wall Street," "we," "us," or "our") is a community-focused real estate and development firm based in Greensboro, North Carolina. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at blackwallstreetllc.org, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and operate our site responsibly.

Information you give us

  • Contact details you submit through our forms — name, email address, and phone number
  • The subject of your inquiry (for example, homeownership, an investment or partnership, a development project, or REI workshops)
  • Any message, question, or property information you choose to share with us
  • Newsletter or community-update sign-up information, if you opt in

Information collected automatically

  • We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site
  • Our hosting provider (GitHub Pages) keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and time of request) for security and reliability — this is typical of all web servers

How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to inquiries about homeownership, investment, partnership, and development opportunities
  • To guide prospective buyers and partners through the steps that follow an inquiry
  • To send community updates, workshop information, or newsletters when you have asked us to
  • To understand how our site is used so we can improve it
  • To protect the security and integrity of our website

We Do Not Sell Your Information

Black Wall Street LLC does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties, and we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). We are a community-rooted firm, and we treat the information you share with the same care we bring to the neighborhoods we rebuild.

California residents have the right to know what personal information we hold, to request its deletion or correction, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information, no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" opt-out is necessary, but you may contact us anytime using the details below to exercise any privacy right.

Cookies & Tracking

This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies and loads no third-party trackers by default. We use standard system fonts (no web fonts are loaded from Google or any third party), and our location map loads from Google Maps only if you click to load it — nothing is requested from Google until you choose to. We may use a single, local browser storage value to remember that you've seen our privacy notice, so we don't show it repeatedly.

Third-Party Services

We keep outside services to a minimum:

  • GitHub Pages — website hosting (standard server logs, as noted above)
  • Google Maps — our office map, loaded only when you click to load it. If you load it, Google receives your IP address under its own privacy policy
  • Social media — our footer links to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn; those platforms have their own privacy policies

We do not embed advertising networks, analytics suites, or social-media tracking pixels.

How We Protect Your Information

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you share. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so while we work to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights & Choices

  • You may ask us what personal information we hold about you
  • You may request that we correct or delete your information
  • You may opt out of community emails or newsletters at any time
  • You may decline cookies through your browser settings

To exercise any of these choices, contact us using the details below.

Children's Privacy

Our website is intended for adults exploring homeownership, investment, and community development. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
