446 Gorrell Street: A Story of Transformation
In 2014, BWS LLC purchased 446 Gorrell Street for $53,000—a house that had seen better days. It was rundown, neglected, and in need of serious restoration. But where others saw a lost cause, we saw potential.
Over the years, BWS invested $200,000 into extensive renovations, turning this once-forgotten property into a modern, welcoming home. Today, 446 Gorrell Street stands as a 3,000 sq. ft. residence with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, a testament to what’s possible when community investment meets a vision for change.
We sold this home to Drashonta Brinson, someone who shares our belief in being an active part of the transformation happening in Southeast Greensboro. At BWS, we don’t just develop properties—we cultivate communities. 446 Gorrell Street is more than just a house; it’s a symbol of progress, equity, and Black ownership.
