A Space for Art, Food, and Business
📍 455 Gorrell St, Southeast Greensboro
The Windsor Hub is a community-centered space designed for creativity, entrepreneurship, and gathering. It is a place where artists can showcase their work, food entrepreneurs can prepare and sell meals, and business owners can access office and meeting spaces—all in the heart of Southeast Greensboro.
The name “Windsor” honors Windsor William, a Black man who once lived in the house across the street. When the city realized he was living beyond the “color line,” they took issue with his presence—hating the idea of a Black man living near them. Today, the Windsor Hub reclaims that space, standing as a monument to Black resilience, creativity, and economic empowerment.
